Practice Experience
Clairize is an admitted attorney specialising in High Court litigation and alternative dispute resolution with a specific focus on commercial law and construction law.
Clairize has expertise and experience in respect of:
- providing advice to clients in respect of potential claims in respect of the construction and built-environment industry, general commercial matters and insolvency and business rescue matters;
- representing clients and instituting the dispute resolution process in the High Court, adjudication and arbitration forums including drafting pleadings, the requisite notices and statements of claim or statements of defence in both general commercial matters, matters in the area of construction and built-environment industry, and matters involving insolvency and business rescue;
- analysing standard form construction agreements (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3 and bespoke contracts) and providing advice relating thereto;
- drafting agreements in respect of commercial transactions and construction agreements; and
- conducting due diligence exercices and drafting due diligence reports in respect of commercial matters, including for development and construction projects.
