Practice Experience
Andrew Naidoo is an admitted attorney and a Senior Associate at MDA Attorneys. Andrew has considerable experience and knowledge in all aspects of high court litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in the fields of commercial and contract law.
Andrew’s expertise and experience covers a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and contract law including:
- Andrew has litigated extensively since commencing articles in 2016 and has experience in drafting pleadings, applications, opinions and all legal processes relating to litigation in the High Court and Magistrates Court.
- Andrew has litigated in the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court and has gained a thorough understanding of the rules applicable to each of these courts.
- Andrew has assisted clients in initiating alternative dispute resolution mechanisms by drafting the requisite correspondence, notices and statements of claim or defence.
- Andrew has experience in advising clients on utilising the liquidation or sequestration process as an effective tool in debt and asset recovery. He has represented large corporate institutions as well as medium and small businesses in applications to liquidate companies and to sequestrate the estates of insolvent individuals or trusts.
- Andrew is an experienced commercial litigator but also has extensive experience in contract law. He has advised clients on key commercial transactions and has drafted and vetted various commercial agreements for large scale projects.
