Practice Experience
Ryan is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with extensive experience in civil litigation, commercial transactions & contractual disputes.
Ryan completed his LL.B in 2017 having achieved Golden Key recognition in his final year. During his studies, Ryan gained experience in commercial law as a legal intern of a multinational telecoms and media corporation. In 2018 he served his articles at a general practice law firm attending to a wide range of matters in the various fields of law, whereafter he was admitted as a practising attorney in early 2020.
During this time Ryan was responsible for driving civil litigation, commercial and property law related matters, as well the drafting and negotiation of various contracts. To further his expertise, Ryan obtained his Master of Laws in the field of commercial and business law in 2024, again having achieved Golden Key recognition.
Ryan has experience in a multitude of legal fields and is able to dispense with a variety of legal quandaries. Since joining MDA in early 2025, Ryan will be advising clients on a range of services for construction projects offered by the firm, including contract drafting & review, recoveries, contractual disputes (adjudication and arbitration proceedings), commercial transactions and litigation.
