Practice Experience
Ryan Bouwer is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with experience in civil litigation, commercial transactions, contractual disputes, and property law matters.
Ryan completed his LLB in 2017, achieving Golden Key recognition in his final year. During his studies, he gained valuable commercial law experience as a legal intern at a multinational telecommunications and media corporation. He commenced his legal career in 2018 at a general practice law firm, where he was exposed to a broad range of legal disciplines before being admitted as an attorney in 2020.
Throughout his practice, Ryan has advised clients on civil litigation, commercial and property law matters, and has extensive experience in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements. In 2024, he obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Business Law, again achieving Golden Key recognition.
Since joining MDA Attorneys in 2025, Ryan has focused on advising clients in the construction and engineering sector, providing support on contract drafting and review, recoveries, commercial transactions, dispute resolution, adjudication and arbitration proceedings, and litigation arising from construction projects.
